Our Mission

SADAH is a charitable organisation founded by Dr Veena Babu, to honour the memory of her late mother, Mrs Helen Babu (5.02.57 - 1.06.22). Helen had a passion and energy for life like no other. She endured the dire complications of end stage Type 2 diabetes and battled every ailment with courage and conviction right until the end. We want

Our Mission at SADAH is to educate and empower the South Asian community to live healthier lives in context of their Diabetes. 

We aim to teach about monitoring sugar levels, compliance with medication, lifestyle factors- especially Diet and Exercise and how we can take PRACTICAL steps to drive change.

Our devoted team of Trustees ( Dr Mike Nosa-Ehima (NHS GP, Clinical Entrepreneur), Dr Veena Babu ( NHS GP, Charity Director) & Dr Ritika Robin ( Dentist with special expertise in Clinical management ) and volunteers are committed to driving change. Get ready to attend classes on fitness, nutrition, Yoga, dance, mindfulness, mental health and much much more...
